I'm just going to say everything.
Life in Stone is finished , but it feels like just a collection of songs to me. It really does. It feels like a collection of singles and individual tracks that I pieced together into a big montage with no discernible flow.
Not that there's anything wrong with that. A lot of artists get away with that now, don't they. The album is dead. It's true. When you look at the charts of the "popularity" on iTunes, one song is always WAY higher than the others.
The album is dead.
I didn't want Life in Stone to purposefully be like that. It just is. Maybe you'll like it. Maybe not.
Life in Stone is shorter than Mad Atlantic, but not by much. It runs at 31:49. It's much more eclectic than my debut, with everything from pop to hard rock to jazz experimentation.
I will post the tracklist soon.
