Just for Kicks: Top Fifteen Most Influential Albums

Hey again. It's me. Just back to throw more useless information onto the Internet.

This time...it's a list...oooooohhhhh.

Okay, these are the Top Fifteen Most Influential Albums to Mad Atlantic (in no particular order):

15. Sigur Ros - Takk...
14. Brian Eno - Ambient 1/Music for Airports
13. The Decemberists - The Crane Wife
12. Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
11. Death Cab for Cutie - Transatlanticism
10. Wilco - Sky Blue Sky
9. Bright Eyes - Cassadega
8. Coldplay - X&Y
7. Snow Patrol - Final Straw
6. Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane, Over the Sea
5. Radiohead - OK Computer
4. Muse - Black Holes and Revelations
3. Keane - Under the Iron Sea
2. Oasis - (What's the Story) Morning Glory
1. The Weakerthans - Reunion Tour

And just in case you were wondering (and so you can stop asking), the origin of the name Mad Atlantic came from the opening track of Keane's album Under the Iron Sea which ranks third here. That song remains in my Top Ten List of Favorites.

So, if you want to sound like me, listen to these albums religiously.

p.s. Check out the NoiseTrade widget below. NoiseTrade is a site that offers fans the chance to pay what they want for music. In fact, you can even get it free! Just refer five friends to the album. That's all you (and they) have to do.
