I am going to have to postpone the release of Mad Atlantic to February 10th, 2009.
I can't believe it, but what I may be able to do is release it sooner. I am keeping my fingers crossed. On December 23rd, there will be a single up for download on this site only. It may be a Christmas song, it may be on the album; all I know is that it will be here.
Once again, I'm sorry, but it IS out of my control.
Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving!

Soon I will be releasing all of the different multi-track stems of "My Legacy" for remixing. They will be posted as High and Low quality WAV files and MP3's. Whomever can make the best remix of "My Legacy" will earn a spot to get their song sold on the upcoming EP that will be released this summer.
Remember, though, that "My Legacy" is an officially copyrighted song. Any adaptations are property of Mad Atlantic Records. All credit on these adaptions, though, will go to the remixer. If you'd like some practice remixing, Nine Inch Nails has an ongoing remix contest of all of their new songs.
A good way to remix is to use programs recommended by such artists or, my personal recommendation is Sony ACID Xpress (http://http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/trials/acidxpress). It is completely free, but somewhat feature limited. The professional version is ACID Music Studio (http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/musicstudio). It is very cheap (about $55) and very powerful. I use it for all my mixing.
I will let everyone know when this starts!

Eight are completely finished.
Here's the listing.
- Terminal Impact
- With No Fear
- My Legacy (That Which I Leave Behind)
- Nordic Death Chant
- You Know Love
- The Rise, Decline, and Eventual Death of the Great Sir William the Whiteheart, the Valiant and Noble Knight
Clocking in at, I believe, just under 50 minutes, this is going to be so worth it. The last track is over 12 minutes long, so i suppose a lot of people are going to go after it.
If you want my opinion, My Legacy is the best track. Which is the reason I haven't released it yet (ha ha ha, you have to wait! :) )
It won't be long, though.

The album, as far as I'm financially concerned, will be available for download on eMusic, iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, LaLa.com, and AmazonMP3. I have no idea when CD's will, if they will, be printed.
I have yet to make an official track listing, but the liner notes will be available on this blog soon.
Be happy! [And look for another free MP3 VERY soon!]

After changing my mind multiple times, I have decided that "Mad Atlantic" will be released this winter. With eight songs definitely on the album, I am two-thirds of the way there. "Spectrum" will have to wait.
Once again, I'm sorry about the glitch in "With No Fear", but when it was converted a final time, the small inaudible glitch I had became big. The album will be mastered to eliminate this.
Some interesting songs have been recorded, including one that sounds like a Dead Kennedys/Muse fusion.
So far on the record are:
"With No Fear"
"My Legacy (That Which I Leave Behind)"
"Nordic Death Chant"
"Footsteps to Your Door"
P.S. New album I would suggest hands down: "Conor Oberst" by Conor Oberst, lead singer of folk-rock band Bright Eyes.

I am sorry for the problem, but this new release will include With No Fear as well as 6 other new recordings.

Unfortunately, though, as you will hear, the release of Mad Atlantic has been delayed to next year and replaced with an EP.
Sorry. I hope you like the EP, which will feature an all new song and three instrumentals just for fun!

With No Fear will become a commercial single on most every music download store on August 5, 2008. I've got new artwork and everything.
Buy it. Please. (!)
Correction: Every store will have it by September 17th. But, some may have it sooner.

Not a review, BUT...
I'd like to say a few words about this new release. Being a huge Coldplay fan anything from the band is awesome. This album, though, is a little less stupendous (yes, I just used that word) than earlier releases. Here's why...
Think A Rush of Blood to the Head meets Sigur Rós meets Travis meets U2. All in all, it's a Coldplay record, just not the most dynamic one to date.
I do love it, though. The sound is different, yet intriguing. With Brian Eno doing many of the soundscapes for it (including the airy "Life in Technicolor"), the album makes one of the most interesting ones of the last few years. Songs like "Yes" and "Violet Hill" are hearty accomplishments, and respectfully such for a band in Coldplay's stature.
Maybe this was a review.
4.5 of 5, aka easily a multi-Grammy Award-winner!

This album is great. Period. Every song is instantly recognizable. Their vocals blend easily with the guitar and drums, especially on tracks like "Hymn of the Medical Oddity". The names of the songs: odd, but memorable. Love it and I'm looking forward to another!
"Tournament of Hearts"
"Sun in an Empty Room"
Comment and tell me what YOU think!
